Last night we made sushi. We bought the sticky rice from an Asian store in Kampala. I brought some seaweed paper from US. The avacados, onion, carrots and fried sweet potatoes are from here. Delicious!!

I usually get fantastic views in the evening or in morning sunrises. Likely, I have these at home in US also,I just don’t see them because I don’t have to go outside to visit the kitchen or the bathroom.

This morning my daughters insisted on making their breakfast on an open fire. The matches used were a few too many. But that’s the trade off for a learning experience. What is she doing in the photo? Blowing the ash back into flame.

So it’s really kind of bizarre to be as average and as unassuming as I like to because of the opportunities and the socioeconomic strata that I am classified in, a government in this current world considers me as a part of their threat category.  I’m a pacifist as anyone comes.
